IJC launched a new issue of the biannual analytical magazine Mass-Media in Moldova. This magazine includes traditional headings like: Ethics and Professionalism, The Letter of the Law, Media as Business and Regional Press, Experiences, Book Review and other topics of public interest. The articles have been written by well-known journalists and their younger colleagues, as well as lawyers. |

12.12.11/ Media nongovernmental organisations signal with concern the deterioration of the press freedom, safe conditions for journalists and human rights in the transnistrian region. Thus, on December 11th, 2011, when elections of the leader of self-proclaimed transnistrian republic were organized in Tiraspol, Valentina Ursu, reporter of Radio „Free Europe” from Chisinau Bureau, has been apprehended for three hours in Tiraspol by the local militia.
